Robo Fisher: Arctic Catch

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 13 August 2026 · Last updated: 13 August 2026

The short version. Robo Fisher: Arctic Catch is a single-player game. There is no account, no sign-in, and no advertising. We do not sell your data, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking software. Your progress stays on your device. The only personal information we ever receive is what you choose to type into a support message.

1. Who this policy comes from

This policy explains how the mobile application Robo Fisher: Arctic Catch (the “App”) handles information. In this document “we”, “us” and “our” mean the developer and publisher of the App, who is the data controller for the limited processing described below.

You can reach us at any time at [email protected] or through the support page.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to the App as distributed through the Apple App Store, and to the support form on our website. It does not apply to any other website, product or service, including websites that you may reach by tapping a link that we publish.

3. What we do not collect

To be explicit, the App does not:

4. Data stored on your device

The App keeps its state locally on your device, using Apple's standard app storage. This includes:

WhatWhy it exists
Game progress — season, day, quota, census and assay records, tags, rulings, endings reachedSo you can close the App and continue where you left off.
Settings and preferences — audio, haptics, accessibility and display optionsSo the App looks and behaves the way you set it.
Content you create in the App — lures, trophy cards, notes on the slateSo your own work survives between sessions.
A random installation identifierA value generated on your device to keep the App's own stored records consistent. It is not derived from your device's hardware identifiers and is not linked to your name, email, or Apple Account.

This data stays on your device. It is included in your device backups if you have backups enabled — those backups are managed by Apple or by your computer, under Apple's terms, not ours. Deleting the App removes this data from your device.

5. Camera

Two features use the camera, and only while you are actively using them:

The camera image is processed on your device, in memory, while the feature is open. We do not upload camera frames, we do not store them, and we do not perform face recognition or any other biometric analysis on them. iOS will ask for your permission before the camera is used for the first time; you can withdraw that permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera, and the rest of the App continues to work without it.

6. Photo library

If you choose to save a trophy card, the App asks iOS for permission to add an image to your photo library. This is add-only access: the App writes the single image you asked it to save and cannot read, browse, or delete anything already in your library. You can withdraw this permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

7. Internet connections the app makes

The App is playable offline. It connects to the internet only for the following:

The App does not transmit your game progress, your photos, camera frames, or the content you create to us or to anyone else.

8. Support requests

If you contact us through the support form or by email, we receive:

We use this information solely to read, investigate and answer your request. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use your address for marketing. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a support message — it is never necessary for us to help you.

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, our legal bases are: consent, for the camera and photo-library permissions you grant in iOS (withdrawable at any time in Settings); performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in answering you, for support correspondence you initiate; and our legitimate interest in operating and securing our website, for the technical request data described in section 7.

10. How long information is kept

11. Deleting your data

To erase everything the App has stored, delete the App from your device; iOS removes its data with it. Some in-app screens also let you clear saved progress directly. To have your support correspondence deleted, email [email protected] from the address you wrote from and ask us to delete it.

12. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the App requires no account and collects nothing about the player, there is nothing to collect in ordinary use. If you believe a child has sent us a support message containing personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Security

Data the App stores stays within your device's app sandbox and is protected by iOS, including the device encryption that applies when your device is locked with a passcode. Connections the App makes use HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but because we hold so little — essentially only the support messages you send us — the exposure is small by design.

14. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In practice the only personal information we are likely to hold is your support correspondence. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within the time your law requires, and in any case within 30 days. We do not charge for this and we will not discriminate against you for asking.

If you are in California: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

15. Apple and the App Store

The App is distributed by Apple. Your download, purchase history, App Store reviews, and any App Store analytics are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, not by us. Where Apple provides us with aggregate statistics, they are aggregated and anonymous and cannot identify you.

16. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the text and the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted in the App or in the App Store release notes. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
